You don't have to be Nerds registered to search, you don't have to enter any personal details to search. Simply enter the serial number for the product you wish to check. If you are running a search on a motor vehicle enter the VIN number.
Hit "SEARCH", we'll do the rest.
If you are having trouble finding a serial number, check out our "how do I find my serial number?" page, under "Hints and Tips" in the main menu.
You can check if a product has been reported stolen, verify that the person selling an item is the true owner, or return an item you have found.
If you are selling an item and have permitted a brief search to establish proof of ownership, you can delete the item from your records by clicking on its 'serial number' and following the simple prompts.
TIP: All items with identical serial numbers will be displayed. When this occurs check to see which item listed matches the product you are searching.
