How?
By logging onto www.nerds.com.au you can check if an item has been reported stolen before purchase.
Searching is free and open to every one.
Remember - possessing or receiving stolen goods is a crime.
Anything with a serial number can be recorded, including; Stereos, motor vehicles, televisions, play stations, computers, power tools, CD's, bikes, and mobile phones.
Upon registration new users receive a print out of all registered items. This document can be presented as proof of ownership at point of sale and can be updated and duplicated at your convenience.
Six (6) identification stickers with the NERDS logo will be mailed to your home or place of business. We recommend you place them in a highly visible location from outside the home and/or car.
Prices start at only $40 for 250 items. Registration lasts for One (1) year.
Your personal information remains confidential, protected by an SSL encrypted securities system. This is the same standard of technology used as financial institutions, ensuring the highest standard of protection.
